Custom RFID labels for European supply chains.
ZTSPT designs, encodes and manufactures RFID labels and tags in its own facility in Shanghai. Buyers in Europe and the Nordics are supported from our office in Malmö.
When barcodes are no longer enough.
Retailers, brand owners and logistics teams use RFID to count stock without line of sight, speed up receiving and dispatch, and remove manual scanning errors. The results depend on the label: a tag that reads well on a cotton garment can perform poorly on a product containing metal or liquid, and encoding mistakes travel straight into your systems.
As an RFID label manufacturer, we work from your product and your use case: we choose the construction, encode to your data scheme and test before volume production, so the labels perform in your stores, warehouses and IT systems.
RFID labels, tags and encoding from one supplier.
RFID labels and tags
Custom RFID labels for item, carton and pallet level, including carton- and pallet-level tagging for receiving, putaway and dispatch in distribution centres.
RFID hang tags and apparel labels
RFID-enabled hang tags and labels for inventory accuracy and brand protection in fashion retail. See RFID for fashion and apparel.
Encoding and serialization
RFID and barcode encoding to GS1 standards, custom serialization rules and data prepared for integration with your existing systems.
BLE tags
Bluetooth Low Energy tags for serialized electronics, warranty tracking, repair history and end-of-life recovery data.
In-house technology
Proprietary encoding systems, labeling machinery and quality-assurance technology developed in-house, backed by more than 60 patents and software copyrights.
Volume production
More than 2 million RFID labels produced per month at our Shanghai facility, alongside smart labels, conventional labels and tapes.
RFID, NFC, QR or barcode?
Each identification technology solves a different problem, and many projects combine two of them, for example UHF RFID for inventory and a QR code for consumers. This overview helps frame the first conversation.
| Technology | How it is read | Typical use | What to consider |
|---|---|---|---|
| UHF RFID | Read by fixed or handheld readers at a distance, many tags at once, no line of sight needed | Stock counts, receiving and dispatch, item-level retail inventory, carton and pallet tracking | Read performance depends on the inlay, the product material and tag placement, so test on the actual product |
| NFC | Read by a smartphone or reader at a few centimetres, one tag at a time | Product authentication, consumer information, after-sales and warranty | Choose a chip with security features if the tag is used to prove authenticity |
| Secure QR / 2D codes | Read by any camera, needs line of sight | Digital product passport links, consumer verification, product information | A printed code can be copied, so use unique serialized codes and monitor scans |
| Serialized barcodes | Read by scanners, one code at a time | Point of sale, logistics, regulated identification such as GS1 identifiers | No product data stored on the label itself; the code links to your system |
What we confirm with you before production.
RFID labels are specified per project rather than picked from a catalogue. Before production we confirm in writing:
- label format, dimensions and print content (brand artwork, barcodes, human-readable text)
- face material and adhesive for the surface and environment
- RFID inlay, chip and memory requirements
- encoding scheme, for example GS1 EPC, and serialization rules
- roll or sheet format and packaging
- quantities, sample timing and production lead time
Ask for a specification sheet and samples for your product. Our manufacturing is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.
From first sample to volume production.
- RequirementsWe review your product, packaging, read environment, IT systems and expected volumes.
- Recommendation and samplesWe propose label construction, technology and encoding, and supply samples for your own tests.
- PilotA structured pilot lets you validate read rates, integration and data output on your products before scaling.
- Production and encodingLabels are produced, encoded and quality-checked in our Shanghai facility, certified to ISO 9001:2015.
- Delivery and supportOur Europe & Nordic Region Office in Malmö coordinates deliveries, changes and repeat orders.
