Labels for medical, dental and pharmaceutical products.
Serialized barcode, RFID and NFC labels, from unit-dose packaging to cold-chain cartons, printed and encoded to GS1 standards and your own specifications.
Identification you can trace.
Medical, dental and pharmaceutical products are identified, tracked and authenticated throughout their supply chain. In the EU, medicines carry safety features (a unique identifier and an anti-tampering device on the outer packaging) under the Falsified Medicines Directive rules that have applied since 9 February 2019. Medical devices, including many dental devices, carry a Unique Device Identifier (UDI) under the Medical Device Regulation: the manufacturer assigns it using a designated issuing entity such as GS1, HIBCC, ICCBBA or IFA, and places the UDI carrier on the label and on higher levels of packaging.
ZTSPT prints and encodes labels to the identifiers, formats and serialization rules you define, so your labels carry the right data reliably at volume.
Serialized labels for healthcare supply chains.
Serialized barcode labels
Labels printed with serialized barcodes and human-readable data to GS1 standards, from unit-dose packaging to shipping cartons.
RFID labels
RFID labels encoded to GS1 standards for carton, kit and asset tracking, including cold-chain cartons.
Authentication
NFC and secure QR labels to help detect counterfeit products. Product authentication.
Quality management
Manufacturing certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015, with in-house encoding systems and quality-assurance technology.
Matching the technology to the task.
Barcodes and 2D codes
The most widely used carriers for regulated identifiers on medical and pharmaceutical packaging; read one at a time by scanners.
UHF RFID
Reads many items at once without line of sight; useful for kits, cartons, consignment stock and asset tracking.
NFC
Smartphone-readable; suited to authentication and to giving clinicians or patients product information.
